I did this one traditionally in front of my students. I was taping off the sections near the jagged bits so I could cut them with x-acto to create a clean edge. However, once I saw how the tape looked, it had that collage-vibe to it, which I couldn't deny! The colors were done with some fluid acrylics. You'll notice that I like to change things up a lot depending on what I'm working on.
