Nate Bramble

Greetings everyone. I'm Nate Bramble and I am an independent cartoonist living in the DFW Metroplex. After graduating from the Art Institute in Philadelphia with a degree in cartoon animation several years ago I've worked for some small game design firms and held some freelance web design and marketing design positions.

For the past four years I have been self publishing my own humor based cartoon comic book series for sale over the web, through indie comics shows and local comic shops. I also spent two years writing and drawing the online comic strip Hermit Hill. Along with my own personal projects I have also contributed to some collaboration projects and comics anthologies with other online and local cartoonists.

I am currently drawing single panel cartoons and publishing them to the web through my personal blog with the intention of collecting them into a book series, the first of which is due to be released in the summer of 2011. You can see the details of all my cartooning projects on my site, Bramble Vine Comics, and read my ongoing series of single panel cartoons and sketchbook scans on my personal blog at www.NateBramble.com.

Mad Max

One image has always stood out apart from all the Mad max movies and the myriad of pretenders.  That of a man...handcuffed to a bomb...with a hacksaw...and the words "Bone cuts faster than metal."  I see this as the pivotal moment in the movie when we are set down face to face with just how brutal the world has become.
It still gives me shivers to this day.

Evan Bryce

Hi, my name is Evan Bryce, and I am an art teacher here in the greater Metroplex. I've been working in comics since I was in college, starting off as a color production assistant, aka 'flatter' on multiple books, most notably The Hunger for Speakeasy and later Markosia. I had a story in Negative Burn, and I've had pin-ups in books such as Crimeland, Astounding Wolf-Man, Brit, and Supermarket: Cash Money Edition. I am also a frequent contributer on Project Rooftop. I've also had an article on Newsarama.

Right now I am having fun with art, as I have fun with teaching! Being an awesome teacher (the students' words not mine) is a rewarding job, I get to work with amazing students, and I get to be a mentor.

Check out my art on my DeviantArt Page , also, I have original work for sale, and can be commissioned for work through Cadence Comic Art.

Jose Esquivel

Hello, everyone, my name's Jose Esquivel. I'm a comic artist with work done for Synesthetic, One Night Stand, and Macabro. I have my own series, Reinhardt District, which just released its second issue, and I'll be hard at work on the next one. I'm also going to school for my design degree, with a possible graduation date in December.

I also have a blog at alto-shorter.blogspot.com. And soon I'll launch my own webcomic with info coming soon.

My hobbies include playing video games, drawing girls, and being the only sober person in my group outings with friends. It's a good life.

Joe Eisma

Hey everyone! My name's Joe Eisma, and I'm a freelance comic and game artist. I've been drawing my whole life, with minimal formal teaching. Since 2005 I've been working in comics, and some of my works include We The People from Outlaw Entertainment, and Serpo from Devil's Due Publishing.

Currently, I'm working for Image Comics on a couple of titles: Existence 3.0 from Shadowline, and Notorious, the upcoming backup storyline in Dynamo 5. I'm most excited for my upcoming series, Morning Glories, which will be out August 2010.

You can find me all over the web, most notably at Supajoe.com, my DeviantArt page and my Blog.

And finally, I'd like to add that I like chairs.

Paul Milligan

Call me Ishmael. On second thought just stick with Paul. I draw comics. Been doing that since I can remember. Some might call me passionate. Some might call me crazy. Some might even call me fat, but that isn't very nice and has nothing to do with what we're talking about here. Under the banner of Stumblebum Studios I and my Stumblebum compatriots self-published several anthologies and one-shots including Mars 1938, The Bradley Boys Adventure Magazine and It Came From Stumblebum. Since 2008 I've been working with writer David Hopkins on Souvenir of Dallas, a one-page comic appearing in D Magazine every other month. Most recently I became a member of that ancient and illustrious order of ink-slinging atomic space knights, Space-Gun Studios and released God of Rock, an 80-page collection of my 24-Hour comic trilogy starring... er... The God of Rock. Currently I'm hard(ly) at work on a 48-page one-shot, Dash Bradley and The Flying Fortresses of Death and How To Lose Big, a graphic novel written by David (him again?) Hopkins. Please love me.

Matthew Warlick

My name's Matthew Warlick and I make comics and stuff. I've been drawing since I can remember, reading comics since age 10, and playing with computers since age 13.

By day I work as a mild-mannered Art Director and Interactive Designer, and by night I try to change the world for the better through the medium of sequential art.

My comic credits include my own book Senryu, pin-ups for Image and Red 5 comics, sketch cards for the Marvel Masterpiece III series and several books from our own Space-Gun Studios.

I have a website with an art blog, wallpapers and more; check it out at www.soulcore.net.

I'm Brent Peeples

Hello all,

My Name is Brent Peeples. I live in the Dallas area with my wife and two girls. I Have been working in comics for a couple years now. In such time I have drawn 90 pages for volume 2 of a OGN called "Corrective Measures" by Arcana Comics (due out this July, but it has been finished for over a year now) and Grimm Fairy Tales for Zenescope Entertainment. I am currently working on a 44 page book for Zenescope based on the character Herbert West, written by Dan Wickline. I love drawing comics. It's the best.

Samax Amen

Hi, I'm Samax (pronounced 'suh MAX'... and yes, it's my real name).  I make my living by drawing stuff good. If you're familiar with my art and/or writing from Champion Of Children, GhostWerksComics, The World As You Know It, Herman Heed, or in my self-published fan magazine GhettoManga Quarterly, you already know that nothing makes me happier than smuggling spiritual and political messages within stories of small children, teenagers, or sometimes scantily clad women punching each other in the face. Get familar at my art blog Ziontific, or dive in the deep end at GhettoManga.com.
